My taxes are pretty simple. I used to use H&R Block, but I just got disgusted with paying them to answer step by step questions in a program. Since I’ve bought a house 2 years ago I started using turboTax. It’s actually quite thorough. It asks pretty pointed and detailed questions. Doctor visits Vs. Perscriptions. It also clues you in on additional deductions, as well as warns you of some implications. It includes video help links and IRS links content specific.
You can make a PDF of your return, and of course electronically file. Pretty simple.
